Torunn Ervik has a background in materials technology, with over ten years of experience as a researcher at the Norwegian Institute of Occupational Health. Her research focuses on exposure assessment and characterization of airborne dust in occupational settings. She has participated in two research projects aimed at assessing exposure to asbestos fibers during remediation work and fire incidents.
