Hans Thore Smedbold is a certified occupational hygienist with more than 30 years’ experience in investigation, research, and teaching. He has held roles at St. Olavs Hospital’s Occupational Medicine Department, NTNU, Det Norske Veritas, Occupational Hygiene Solutions AS, and Proactima AS. He has chaired the Norwegian Occupational Hygiene Association since 2021 and serves on the board of the European Platform for Occupational Hygiene.
