Vidar Larsen started working as a Safety Representativ from The Norwegian Trade Union, Fellesforbundet, 25 years ago. In his work he visit buildingsites looking for dangarus situations. Asbestos is often seen in buildings, and he stops all activity until the asbestos have been safely removed. He is a course instructor for workers who should learn safe removal of asbestos. More than 10.000 workers have been trained by this trade union since the bann of asbestos in 1985. He have also been responsibal for starting science projects involving asbestos.
