Paul Sandanger, 75 years old, has worked for 13 years as a department manager in the electrical department at a shipyard. This involved much new construction and repair, with much exposure to asbestos in cramped environments. He has also been a department manager in the local electricity inspection in a large grid company, for 32 years. On top of that, he investigated all the fires in the entire grid company’s area, together with the police; a great deal of work was done standing in asbestos residues…
In his spare time, he enjoys to sing in the choir and to play as a musician.
Paul has been diagnosed with both prostate and (later) lung cancer; and will speak of his experiences and his message to the audience.
